What to expect at your treatment?

Depending if you choose to add a skin prep treatment such as microdermbrasion or dermaplaning prior to your Skin Booster session (either of which we highly encourage for the best results!), your therapist will start with a quick cleansing the skin. After cleansing and exfoliating and once the numbing cream has come into effect your aesthetician will begin your Skin Booster treatment.

For the treatment your aesthetician will be using a multi-needle head to infuse the customised serums into your skin in a treading type motion.  It is not uncommon to draw a small amount of blood from the process in certain areas, in particular if you have thin skin. Please be assured your equipment is fully sterilised prior to use and all needles are single use only.

After Care

Your skin may be sensitive after your treatment and as such you need to treat it with care. Use a gentle cleanser to wash your skin (like Cetaphil) and if possible avoid applying makeups like foundations for 24-48 hours after treatment.

It is extremely important to avoid direct sun for at least 48 hours after a skin needling session.
Always apply an SPF to your skin, especially in our beautiful Gold Coast climate and after having a skin treatment.

How many treatments will I need?

For optimal results we recommend a series of 3-4 treatments of Derma 2.0 Skin Booster. Your aesthetician can advise a more specific treatment schedule for you at your first appointment.
