Cryolipolysis

Cryolipolysis is a treatment that originated after researchers fully understood what happens when humans get frostbite: fat cells freeze before skin freezes. Studies have shown that cryolipolysis is effective in safely eliminating fat from stubborn areas.

How does it work?

A section of your skin is inserted into a freezing device for about an hour, resulting in the crystallization of some fat cells.

The device works by drawing in a section of fat into the head between two cooling plates. Once the fat and skin are between the two plates, the plates are compressed and then the temperature is dropped. At the end of the treatment, the device is removed and the treated area is then massaged so that it can return back to its original contour.

This freezing process starts the death cycle for the fat treated. The fat that is going to be eliminated slowly dies and the by-products are safely absorbed and excreted by the body.

Cryolipolysis is wonderful for removing fat from the following areas:

  • -          upper/lower abdomen
  • -          flanks
  • -          love handles
  • -          hips
  • -          bra rolls
  • -          inner and outer thighs
  • -          saddlebags
  • -          banana rolls (under the buttocks)
  • -          axillary bra fat.

Individual results will vary, however some people can experience redness, mild pain and bruising for a few days afterward

Cavitation

Ultrasonic Cavitation is a revolutionary procedure that was designed in Europe, and is a non-invasive treatment which aids in the reduction of localised fat deposits. Using ultrasound waves, cavitation is ideal for people seeking fat removal from a specific area such as the hips, thighs, buttocks, stomach or arms and a more contoured shape.

How does it work?

Cavitation is a treatment that sends through a low frequency wave (tiny bubble) into the fat cell, this disturbs the outer membrane which then causes tiny collections of fat to be dispersed into the surrounding area, and expelled naturally.

You can have cavitation done straight after cryo as it will breaks up the frozen crystallised cells.

Prices from $150 per area (30 mins)

Radio Frequency (RF) Skin Tightening

RF skin tightening treatment is a non-surgical tightening of the early signs of loose or sagging skin that is commonly used to treat the forehead, under the eyes, cheeks, mid-face, jaw line, and neck.

How does it work?

RF energy penetrates both the epidermis and the dermis to stimulate subdermal collagen production which tightens and rejuvenates the skin, but it causes no damage to the existing skin cells. If you have sensitive skin but want to treat your fine lines and wrinkles, radio frequency skin tightening may be a good option for you, as it is gentler on the skin than most other kinds of thermal procedures.

Prices from $180 per area (30 mins)
